2nd Line Support - Based in Caerphilly - Permanent Role

Salary: upto £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) + package

Hours: 37.5 per week / Monday to Friday (qualified driver's essential)

VibeRecruit is working on behalf of an established IT Managed Service provider who support a wide range of businesses throughout the UK. They offer remote support & on-site hardware & software solutions to small & medium sized companies operating across multiple sectors.

Due to increased business gains they are currently seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their established service team based in Caerphilly.

The successful candidate will be required to resolve in-bound technical queries, as well as attend client sites to provide advanced technical support. He/she will be required to diagnose IT & network issues within a timely manner and resolve issues on-site or remotely depending on requirements.

Technical issues will be relayed via word-of-mouth, phone, email and their online portal so the successful candidate will need to manage their caseload effectively.

The ideal candidate will hold industry certification and have previous experience working within an IT support environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows (7&8), business desktop applications and some exposure to Server (2008, 2012 & 2016) operating systems is essential.

Strong communication & customer service skills would be essential in this role as he/she will be regularly engaging with clients at all levels of business.

As the role involves remote & client-site work the successful candidate will hold a full UK Driving License and have access to their own vehicle.
