3.5t Delivery Drivers

Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for 3.5t van delivery drivers in Chepstow, Gwent.

For over 50 years, our prestigious client has supplied car, commercial and industrial tyres. Last year alone they kept motorists rolling by supplying over 2,500,000 tyres. With another 2 distribution centres, the Chepstow depot delivers to tyre fitters across the Wales, Midlands and South West region.

Presently our client is looking for hard working, customer facing delivery drivers. Previous knowledge of the trade is desirable, but not essential.

Shifts are typically Monday to Friday 0600 starts. Saturday shifts may also be required.

For the right candidates with a "can-do" attitude, this could lead to a permanent role.

The Role requirements:

• Full valid driving licence (category B)
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN or DR endorsements)
• Flexibility to be on a 6 day rota (Monday to Saturday)
• Customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
• Due to the role, candidates must be physically fit. A lot of manual handling is involved

The role rewards:

• Hourly pay of £9.00 per hour Monday to Friday (guaranteed 8 hours per shift)
