Job Description

Senior Sales Manager (office based)
Full time, Monday Friday
£17500 £21000 dependant on experience.


Exciting opportunity to join a well established manufacture in the Swansea area.


Main Purpose of Job:

To identify and consistently win new customers.
Build your own portfolio.
To meet and consistently exceed the sales and profit targets set.
Increase turnover and profitability of region.
Manage existing accounts 'share of wallet'.
Improve retention rates and margins on existing base.
Meeting and over achieving sales and productivity targets.
Present accurate and timely daily figures to senior management.



Levels of Responsibility:

Responsible for looking after designated Regional Area.
Liaising and building strong relationships with all stakeholders within Lyte
Responsible for meeting and exceeding Sales and Profit Targets.
Accurately recording sales figures and reporting them to the Sales Manager
Managing and keeping their own portfolio up to date in CRM
Ensuring cost effective profit margins are adhered to, in line with Company





Key Tasks:

Contacting and building relationships/income with new customers.
Contacting existing customer to gain sales orders.
Processing and confirming customers' orders.
Supporting and gaining new clients through marketing campaigns.
Hitting Daily call/productivity targets.
Providing quotations to customers.
Managing and updating CRM.
Accurate daily reporting daily to senior management.


Important Supplementary Tasks:

Advising customer's correct lead times.
Liaising with other departments.
Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
Undertake any other tasks allocated to you from time to time.
Processing sales orders.


Qualifications / Training Requirements / Competencies:

Have worked within a modern call centre environment.
Skilled in working with automated dialler telephone system and CRM
Time Management skills.
Can demonstrate high levels of outbound daily engagement.
Have strong communication skills.
Demonstrate effective and strong negotiation skills.
To have relevant IT skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.
