Ae you looking for a part time Accounts Assistant role 3 days a week or around school hours? Are you local to Didcot / Abingdon/ Newbury / Wantage? Do you have your own transport? Would you like to join a company with fantastic benefits?
As part time Accounts Assistant you will support the Accounts Assistant and work in office with the team and you will:
- Distribute Invoices to Managers for authorisation
- Set up accounts in Sage for new suppliers, with appropriate credit limits
- Code and post invoices, credit notes and staff expenses to Sage
- Resolve queries relating to purchase ledger invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Requesting supplier statements and performing monthly reconciliations
- Company Credit Card reconciliations, including chasing outstanding receipts
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and emails
- Assist the Finance Team in identifying monthly accruals and prepayments
- File, photocopy, and scan invoices as required
As Accounts Assistant you should be:
- Organised, adaptable and be able to work independently and within a team environment
- Have a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- Sage experience is desirable but not essential
