Business Development Manager - Based in Stonehouse, Gloucester - Permanent Role

VibeRecruit is working with an award-winning light steel frame design & construction company who are industry leaders operating across the residential & commercial sectors respectively.

Their main projects include designing & constructing bespoke housing, schools & colleges, student accommodation and leisure facilities across the UK; using light frame structural steel, which is sustainable, quick to manufacture and highly cost efficient.

To aid in their expansion plans for the new fiscal year they are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to upsell existing clients, as well as increase pipeline by identifying & engaging with potential businesses across the construction & civils sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating & managing new business through established & new channels within the construction sector; ultimately leading to producing tendering opportunities for Designers & Estimators within the existing team.

Demonstrated experience of outbound business development & sales within the construction sector (including structural steel frame) is essential.

Candidates must hold a qualification in Construction, Engineering or similar related trade. Experience of structural design (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit or Tekla) would also be an advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful design & construction business with an established client base managing projects across the UK.

The role is mainly office based however the successful candidate will be expected to regularly attend client & site meetings, as well as work remotely on occasion.
