Job Description

Vibe Recruit's client based in Caerphilly is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager on a full time, permanent contract.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in your defined region along with the delivery of sales targets against budget. You will establish plans and strategies to develop the existing customer base, secure new business and develop marketing channels for the business.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop market business plans and sales strategy to ensure the delivery of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provide timely feedback to the business on performance of all key customers.
  • Deliver solutions to customer needs to generate a win/win.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Research the market and related products, gathering market and customer information.
  • Manage all aspect of service to customers on territory; provide product training and first level technical guidance to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports using ACT.
  • Attend tradeshows.

Job Specifications:

  • Proactive, self-starter who is comfortable working on own initiative.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Proven ability to build and develop excellent customer relationships understanding of their needs and business requirements, to ensure the highest levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Commercially aware, sound understanding of effective sales and marketing techniques.
  • Meets or exceeds all KPI activity standards for existing business, prospects, appointments, presentations, and proposals
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Demonstrates sound product knowledge.
  • Strong team working ethic, comfortable working alongside colleagues in supporting functions. Ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Able to travel and work in all areas of territory.
