Due to growth, we are recruiting for a CNC Setter / Programmer for a first class, specialist manufacturer in Merthyr. This is a great opportunity where you will benefit from excellent job variety and the chance to work for an industry leader that is fairing very well during the current uncertain times.

You will:

• Showcase your experience in setting and programming CNC milling machines, preferably with experience on Haas and Fanuc controls.
• 
  Be able to clock or square jigs and fixtures up on machines, load and unload tooling into chucks and be familiar with setting work and height / length offsets for tooling and fixtures.
• 
  Display your skills in reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and be able to use measuring equipment such as verniers and height gauges.
• 
  Be able to operate certain machinery yourself if production required it
