Vibe Recruit is now seeking a Coating Technician to join an award-winning manufacturing client based in Newport due to continued growth.

The main purpose of this role is to operate a range of coating equipment on manufactured components to serve several different industries.

As Coating Technician you will:

• Operate a range of coating equipment programming robot and components manipulation equipment, selecting and monitoring process parameters.
• Loading and unloading components and coating materials, preparing appropriate tooling and masking.
• Operate thermal spray equipment to process parts in line with customer requirements.
• Ensure that components are processed according to the quality standards / process documents for each application.
• Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure preceding operations have been carried out correctly and to verify that your own work has met the required standards.
• Become familiar with the 'check-work-check' process and be committed to a 'right first time' approach to all tasks carried out.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering/manufacturing or production processing background and the ability to read engineering drawings and employ a range of measurement techniques, however training will be provided for the specific tasks required for this role and anyone who can evidence an aptitude for this type of role and is keen to develop new skills will be considered.
