Business Systems & Facility Compliance Officer

£45,000 + employee benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Business Systems and Facility Compliance Officer for a well established employer in Hereford.

The Business Systems & Facility Compliance Officer (FCO) is a critical internal resource within the Compliance Department reporting to the UK MG Compliance Manager.

As Business Systems & Facility Compliance Officer you will:

- Ensure ongoing day-to-day compliance to all UK & US Export & Import Control legislation and ensure that Trade Compliance Policies & Procedures are executed to an exacting standard.

- Use your knowledge of audit, compliance and continuous improvement practices.

- Possess a good background in Quality Management principles in a highly regulated industry

- Be able to use data to help manage and analyse compliance and quality, producing audit reports and preparing audit activities.

- Showcase your communication and interaction skills both verbal and written and not afraid to advise on company and staff obligations to comply.

- Have the ability to develop good working relationships within Metals Group Management Team and to mentor all levels within the organisation with regards to compliance

- Proactively perform routine audits with regards to Customer, AS9100, AS13100, TS16949 and internal requirements to ensure that: each process is understood by all participants KPIs are appropriate and the process is achieving the expected results

- Ensure business processes are adequately documented and facilitate Procedure and SOP generation and control.

- Promote the use of standardised tools and reporting (STAR, SAP, Microsoft BI) to assist with the publication of regular Compliance Newsletters/communications

- Possess a formal AS9100/AS13100, AD 2000 and TS16949 Lead or Internal Auditor qualification

- Stop any exportation believed not to be in full compliance with the applicable laws, regulations or internal policies and procedures.

- Investigate and report internally upon any suspected violation of export control laws and regulations.
