Process Manufacturing Engineer (CI) Circa £45,000+ depending on experience
Overview
This is an opportunity to become part of an international manufacturing organisation who are prepared to offer a unique development role for an ambitious engineering professional looking to advance their career.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for development and optimisation of the manufacturing processes, reducing the key element of reducing variability.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be working across all departments including: technical, engineering and operations to deliver manufacturing engineering improvements across a breadth of activities; supporting existing and new products, defining new and supporting existing processes, quantifying costs, measuring quality processes and procedures, addressing lead time improvements and requirements amongst others. You will also be capable of planning and managing ME related activities, across site and report ME related cost structures and savings.
Qualifications/Experience it is essential you will be Degree educated in an engineering discipline or HND/HNC and have some experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Formal training in Lean Principals and Continuous improvement techniques is essential, coupled with a proven track record on implementation of improvement projects.
Ideally you will have knowledge of: Continuous improvement techniques and lean certification Project Management experience
Project based process mapping and TPM.
Involvement in investment programmes. A desire to support and work within multi-discipline teams Possess an understanding of quality systems, change management and continuous improvement techniques along with audit compliance.
