The role
Vibe Recruit are proud to be representing a growing client based in Tredegar who currently require an experienced Contracts Manager. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager your role will be to manage the day to day running of contracting ensuring Health & Safety, Quality and Profitability for the business. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the Operations Project Co-Ordinator, Operations Supervisors and operational teams daily. This role is pivotal to the business and you will establish an excellent continuous relationship with clients allocating work to schedule in line with staff/resource availability.

Duties and responsibilities
Ensure that upcoming job recces are completed, and site is ready to start work with supervisor and relevant site contact
Liaise with relevant teams and individuals to provide daily, weekly and monthly updates on current/ live jobs to relevant departments.
Assist in handover of internal pre-start project meetings
Attend external prestart meetings in accordance to contractual requirements and business needs
Update CRM as and when appropriate to provide vision to business and update any company records
Immediately report any delays or potential issues to the commercial manager arising on projects that will impact financial performance.
Carry out continuous checks on weather forecasts at both proposed and current job locations to ensure that commercial requirements are optimized and completion schedule
Assist in planning, budgeting and reporting on projects against profitability
Schedule work in order to maximise financial efficiencies and productivity in line with the agreed SLA's and KPI's

Skills, Qualifications and experience required
NEBOSH or equivalent
Proficient in handling complex schedules in a rapidly evolving environment
Minimum of 2 years contracting experience
Understand different situations from site requirements and an ability to solve problems
Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients at all levels
Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner
Implementation of improvements to systems
