Customer Service Co-ordinator - Banbury - Permanent
Position: Customer Service Co-ordinator
Location: Banbury
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Hours: 08:45am - 16:45pm Monday - Friday
Are you an individual who has an eye for detail with a desire to improve processes and efficiencies whilst also having the ability to work independently and prioritise workloads?
Our client who is a leading manufacturing and software company expanding rapidly is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team. Your responsibility will be to provide support to the Service/Operations Department. The position is a multi-disciplined role requiring a wide range of skills to support activities such as ensuring processes for service calls, spares and returns are carried out as efficiently and accurately as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quotations, PO receipt/Order Entry/RMA tasks are carried out in a timely manner with excellent attention to detail
- Manage and arrange the Service Engineers job timetable by location and customer demand
- Responsible for all UK and overseas Service visits, booking fights, hotels, parking, hire car, transfers etc
- Manage the Service filing system and the creation of all Training & Machine manual
- Create and assist in raising quotations for spare parts and service
- Raising quotations for Parts/Service/Training
- Arranging service visits both UK and Overseas including booking of flights, hotels, parking, hire cars, transfers, visa's etc
- Dealing with urgent customer requests and complaints in a timely fashion
- Diary management
- Other tasks include in-office duties such as logging, Customer Satisfaction stats and general day-to-day services activities
- Welcoming Customers to the site, coordination of health & safety, signing in, tour of building, preparation of meeting rooms (to include refreshments) for visitors & training
- Positively influence and build effective relationships
Requirements:
- Professional and proficient in handling complex queries to locate the right source of direction of call
- Ability to work cross-functionally to be able to respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Pro-activity and use of initiative in order to resolve potential problems and challenges
- Ability to respond well to change and pressure
- A meticulous approach and a high level of accuracy demonstrating strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Specific Skills:
- Use of Microsoft Package such as Word, Excel and Outlook Email
- Use of a CRM system
- Use of Sage or SAP - desirable but not essential
