We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant head office team for a leading fashion retailer as an E Commerce Merchandiser based in Cardiff.
Joining an innovative, motivated team, this role comes with genuine career prospects, and you will have the chance to gain an industry recognised qualification within your first 18 months in the position.
E Commerce Merchandiser Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing optimum stock levels to achieve sales.
- Utilising experience in a retail merchandising environment to full advantage.
- Identifying opportunities for the growth of online exclusive products.
- Providing commercial insight into the online channel performance to guide buyers & category merchandisers in building appropriate ranges.
- Being focal point and communication link between the category buying and merchandise team and the on-line channel team.
- Managing in-season stock build, allocation and stock availability of all multi-channel offers (on-line, catalogue, TV etc) in line with the various critical paths and KPI's.
- Growing sales and ensuring creation of a balanced product offering, using analytics to optimise the site and drive web traffic.
- Ensuring online activity is in line with overall brand and marketing strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
- Experienced in a retail Merchandising environment, ideally with E-commerce experience.
- Able to evolve with the role and adapt to suit expectations as the position develops.
- Able to manage and motivate the E-commerce assistant whilst demonstrating own competencies.
- Have a strong demonstration of range planning and excellent knowledge of forecasting principles.
Benefits
- Up to £50,000 p/a (depending on experience).
