Electrical Estimator

Vibe Recruit are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to work with an independent electrical company based in Portsmouth working across various sectors across the UK

Duties and responsibilities will include:
You will need to be an experienced Electrical Estimator
Undertake audits of projects planned and completed
Completion of costing and tender documentation
Prepare and accurately forecast final accounts
Take overall responsibility and accountability for the commercial elements on a number of contracts
To offer assistance, support and mentoring to other team members
Assist the with pre-start planning and programming
Perform Reviews of any submitted application for payment related to works
Organising pre-start planning and programming of works
Electrical industry and construction knowledge / experience would be preferable
Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designation projects
Attend project and company related meetings
Manage the costs on a project to ensure both the company and the client is fully advised of the cost situation
Review Drawings for design changes to ensure any changes/ costs are recorded.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Experience working within the commercial electrical sector
Excellent foresight and ability to plan ahead
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work with staff at all levels
Proactive approach to work along with a hardworking drive to succeed
Commercially aware
Excellent Communication and IT skills

Package:
Competitive, experience based salary of £45k - £60K for the right candidate.
Working on a flexible self-employed basis at in Havant with a supplied company mobile phone.
