Electrical Maintenance Technician
Salary: £32,443 inclusive of shift allowance 37-hour week
6.00am to 2.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm, 10.00pm to 6.00am Monday to Thursday
Friday shifts are 5 hours. 6.00am to 11.00am, 11.00am to 4.00pm, 4.00pm to 9.00pm
Paid overtime available

The Role:
- Provide breakdown and planned maintenance support to manufacturing areas. Carry out Improvements, TPM, Schedule
- Fault finding, undertake timely repairs of all equipment.
- Ensure machinery running to optimum with minimum downtime.
- Fault-finding on A.C. / D.C. Drives and PLC systems.
- Health and Safety Awareness for all activities undertaken, ensuring strict adherence to safe working practices and always observe safety rules.
- Communicate with Shift Supervisors to determine priority / urgency of a required repair.
- Complete relevant paperwork and fill in PPM reports.
- Look at ways of improving equipment.
Qualifications/Experience
- Ideally have completed a time served electrical apprenticeship. However, consideration will be given to applicants with NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering supported by several year's maintenance experience within a heavy to medium manufacturing operation.
- Strong problem analysis and fault-finding skills
- Used to prioritising essential maintenance work
