£21,000 - £23,000 + additional benefits

We are recruiting for an Electrical or Pneumatic Assembly Supervisor to build electrical and/or pneumatic systems for a range of engineering clients. Overseeing a small team of Assemblers on a supervisory basis, you would be providing support and guidance to those colleagues.

As Electrical or Pneumatic Assembly Supervisor you will:

- Understand and interpret technical drawings

- Have an electrical and/or pneumatic background

- Carry out basic electrical assembly and installation work

- Use electrical or manual tools such as saws, squares, callipers etc.to assist in quality of products for customers

- Use your mentoring / supervisory skills to full advantage and be able to write reports and work to production KPIs

- Assemble the controls to the final products ready for inspection

- Diagnose and rectify faults with products

- Assist in the carrying out of tests and inspection of electrical installation and provide satisfactory documentation as required

Essential


Working experience in engineering/ manufacturing and focus on health and safety is essential
Exceptional levels of attention to detail
Must be passionate about high quality and able to follow procedures and work instructions
Experience of working with relevant measurement and hand tools
Supervisory and / or mentoring experience

Desirable



You will be working within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment so will need to adhere to safety regulations when out on the shop floor.
