Are you a skilled Electrical Design Engineer? Are you looking for an interesting and varied role where you will be home based and travelling to a variety of manufacturing sites around Yorkshire? We are recruiting for an Electrical Safety Control Systems Design Engineer to work from home and service a number of high profile manufacturers in the Yorkshire area. This is a great opportunity with excellent job satisfaction.

As Electrical Safety Control Systems Design Engineer you will:

- Attend site to design and quote electrical safety control systems.

- Provide electrical schematics using drawing package(Cad Electrical or similar) to a team of electricians.

- Generate Bill of materials

- Train and develop members of the team in safety control systems.

- Assist with onsite testing, commissioning and validation of control system.

- Provide documentation, technical file and SISTEMA reports.

Experience and Knowledge needed:

- Experience of design, setting up and implementation of electrical control systems.

- Experience of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.

- Experience in programming using PLC control.

- Experience with safety relays or programmable safety controllers

- Experience in specifying control elements in automation.

- Experience in control panel building and interfacing control systems with machinery.

- Experience in CAD or similar electrical drawing packages
