Job Description

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide confidential, efficient, and effective support to the Directors, including the non-Executive Chairman. Your responsibilities will include managing diaries, preparing documents, handling calls, managing expenses, arranging travel, and providing a high level of senior administrative support.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours a week

Salary: £40,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities of an Executive Assistant

  • Co-ordinate and manage diaries of the CEO and other Company Directors as required
  • Act as the gate keeper of communications from stakeholders to the CEO
  • Provide relevant company secretarial and administrative support for Directors
  • Attend and take minutes at Management meetings and other meetings as required by Directors
  • Assist in the coordination and management of corporate events
  • Coordinate relevant hospitality activities for the business including the hosting of dignitary visits
  • Handle all calls, expenses and travel administration for Directors
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and personal standards as a representative of the business

Skills, knowledge & experience of an Executive Assistant

  • Educated to Level 3 standard (e.g. A Level or BTEC) or significant equivalent experience in an Executive Assistant (EA) or Personal Assistant (PA) role.
  • Proven track record of working at an EA or PA level for company directors.
  • Producing documentation for company records.
  • Understanding of CEO, Company Directors and Board member roles in business.
  • Interpreting and anticipating situations to help ensure CEO and Directors are provided with sufficient assistance.
