Finance Administration Assistant
Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £20,000
The role is Monday Friday 9-5.

My client is pleased to offer a keen learner, looking for a career within the Admin or Finance industry the opportunity to become a Finance/Administrative Assistant with their growing team.

This will involve providing administrative support to key members of the company's business operations, to handle all clerical tasks, for instance, answering phones, return emails, scanning, filing, copying, typing dictated letters, greet and help customers or other staff members when they enter the office, file documents and to provide support to the various departments and it's stakeholders.

In addition, the role will involve collaboration with other departments across the business to ensure success and quality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the Commercial Team to support their monitoring of agent performance.
- Use of Utility Manager, our internal bespoke CRM software (training will be provided).
- Banking
- Liaise with our clients and internal teams with regards to finance issues or circumstances requiring clarification.
- Communicate with field based team when required.
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings, support visitors and provide information by answering questions and requests.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Completing operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
- Supporting team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
- Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

This role is a permanent position, which is office based.

You must not have a criminal record and will be required to undergo a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) and Credit Reference Check
