Forklift Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Engineer based in Bridgend covering South, West and Mid Wales. Are you looking to work with an industry leading company working on Materials Handling Equipment.

Forklift Engineer Benefits:

• Up to £35,000 pa.

Forklift Engineer Duties:

• Be familiar with conducting repairs, fault finding, service and maintenance to a forklift and materials handling equipment.
• Use your communication skills to full advantage when liaising with customers on site and working in a team environment.
• Showcase your knowledge of hydraulic systems, servicing diesel engines and cam-bus electrical systems when working to a high-quality standard.
• Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and effectively use diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of forklift models.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.

Forklift Engineer Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working with materials handling equipment.
• Relevant qualification.
• Able to work on mechanical and electrical issues including complex diagnostic issues.
