General Porter

Vibe Recruit are looking for a number of General Porter's for our NHS client, based in Gloucester.

Job Summary:

• To undertake Portering and Security tasks.
• Work as part of a team to provide safe, competent, and comprehensive support to all wards, departments, and users of the service:
• To provide an efficient high quality Portering and Security service, meeting the agreed work routines and required response times. Be able to adapt regular routines and plan changes to support the team.
• The post holder will be part of the violence and aggression team, as part of the team along with clinical colleagues implement safe holding techniques from de-escalation to restraint.
• This post also includes transportation, specimens, medical records, goods, pharmacy products, medical gases, and equipment around the site.
• Occasionally, you may be required to cross work within other departments across the GMS portfolio of services. This work will be undertaken under the direct supervision of other qualified/experienced staff.
