Role - Goods In Quality Control Technician

Location - Port Talbot

Rate of Pay - £8.13 per hour

Contract - Temp to Perm

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.00 - 40 Hours

Vibe Recruit have an immediate requirement for a Goods In Quality Control Technician based within our clients Goods In department.

Candidates duties and responsibilities are -

• Logging of incoming packaging components deliveries into an excel spreadsheet.
• Recording of Traceability details
• Evaluation of delivery paperwork
• Determination of the sampling requirement of the packaging components
• Assessment of the supplier's documentation and certificates of conformity
• Evaluation of packaging materials checking artwork/attributes against a standard, making release/quarantine decisions
• Generation of supplier non-conformance notices, working with the purchasing department for resolution
• Making decisions on releasing of packaging/quarantine for production on the company's management system sage
• Logging delivery data and results on manual records
