Senior HR Business Partner
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum
Working from home
3-month contract

The role

Due to recent changes within the HR Department my client has a requirement for an experienced interim Senior HR Business Partner who will play a key role in supporting the Head of OD & Communications. You will provide customer focused, proactive and efficient HR service that adds real value and aligns with cultural change.

Duties and responsibilities

Support the Head of OD & communications to develop and deliver effective HR/OD solutions that facilitate agile working, drive performance and productivity and build employee engagement.
Provide HR advice, guidance and support to colleagues throughout the business supporting them to deliver vision, values and strategic objectives.
Efficiently manage a varied ER caseload, assess and communicate any risks and/or costs to the business in relation to ER issues.
Providing support and advice to managers on ER issues to enable them to understand HR risks, make informed decisions and effectively deal and resolve ER issues in their areas.
Proactively improve leadership capabilities in people management through support on day to day HR issues and by working closely with L&D to identify and provide additional support to managers as needed, based on HR data.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of employment legislation and use this to inform advice provided, as well as the design of HR policies, guidance and/or resources.
Contribute to the development of polices and frameworks that align with an agile thinking approach and cultural change drivers to create a more consistent and engaging experience for our people and which meet legislative and relevant inspection frameworks requirements.
Provide advice and guidance to managers on all areas of people management to support and enable them to build high performing teams that deliver excellent customer experiences.
HR lead on key organisational and change management projects.
Provide advice on organisation and job design including job evaluation.
Support the Head of OD & communications to embed the effective use of HR analytics to better inform decision making and help drive performance improvements both in the OD service and the business more widely.
Ensure HR data is managed professionally and securely.
Build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including trade unions and participate in trade union meetings.

Skills, experience, and qualifications required

CIPD and or equivalent HR Qualification
Evidence of continuous professional development
A practical knowledge and understanding of employment law and statutory obligations
Extensive experience of advising on complex cases and bringing them to a successful and timely conclusion
Experience of managing recruitment and selection campaigns to source the best talent for the organisation
Experience of leading on project work including the research and development of policy, procedure and practice
Strong customer focus with a commitment to engaging and involving customers in service design
