£32,000 - £34,000 per annum plus benefits

My client who strive to continue to be an employer of choice currently require an experienced HR Business Partner. Your role will not only be to provide a first-class HR service but to also take a lead in the full onboarding process. Reporting directly to the HR Manager you will also provide guidance and coaching to line managers and support them through their HR issues in accordance with HR policies and procedures, best practice, and employment legislation.

Duties and responsibilities


Provide support and guidance to employment on terms and conditions of employment and HR policy and practice.
Lead relevant exit interviews of staff from agreed departments
Represent when required at external events promoting the business as an employer of choice
Support on employee relations cases e.g. carry out investigations and attendance at disciplinary hearings
Take a lead role with regards to recruitment and selection of specified departmental staff both permanent, temporary and agency.
Support on absence management
Deliver the site's Health and Safety Programme working with our occupational health provider on health surveillance
Identify areas for the development and opportunities for improvement with regards to the HR function and service. Promote CI principles and support HR projects to deliver business improvements
Work closely with the HR Manager in implementing strategic HR projects, as and when required.
Promote the organisation's charity of the year and our corporate social responsibility
Assist in the preparation of the HR metrics and reports

Skills, experience, and qualifications required

Excellent interpersonal skills being able to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups.
Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Generalist HR experience
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience of a HR/ERP system
