We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Manager to join an award-winning manufacturer in Newport. It's a great opportunity to support the production process by providing an efficient cleaning service in a firm that is going through a significant period of growth and investment.

As Hygiene Manager you will:

- Implement best practice hygiene techniques to promote food safety, quality & environmental compliance, always maintaining standards to deliver this.

- Delivering strong hygiene performance at site to maximise the efficiencies and driving cost reduction.

- Plan hygiene schedules to deliver a best in class cleaning service, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness at all times.

- Ensure all hygiene documentation and cleaning records are always up to date.

- Develop and maintain the nights hygiene team on site to adequately support the departmental and business needs.

- Actively engage in routines to maintain a pro-active approach to hygiene, food safety, quality & environmental standards across the site

- Have active involvement in any continuous improvement projects and commissioning of equipment.

Manage and have responsibility of all chemical storage locations at site.

To work as Hygiene Manager you will need:

- HACCP Level 2 and Food Safety Level 2 essential, Level 3 desirable
- Relevant factory hygiene / cleaning training
- COSHH / Chemical Handling training
- Previous experience within a hygiene management / supervisory role in FMCG
