Permanent
Salary: up to £45,000.00 per annum plus benefits
Location: Caerphilly

Would you like to be part of a rapidly expanding business who provide outsourced solutions to several clients across the UK? Would you like to be part of a high-performance environment?

Due to internal movement my client currently requires an experienced IT Manager to ensure operational capability of all services delivered. This will include all networks and infrastructure, computers and phones, telephony and any other systems and services.

Reporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer you will be responsible for managing all IT and communications for the business including escalation of IT issues, internal changes and the delivery of internal projects to time, quality and budget.

The role
Management of supplier contracts including but not limited to IT support and voice communications
Management of staff to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and on time
Coach, develop and motivate the team whilst monitoring performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure all personal targets are being achieved in accordance with our policies
Undertake one to ones, meetings, appraisals and to adhere to HR procedures in accordance with company policy
Overall responsibility for internal projects and change requests across the business, related to I service delivery
Ensuring adherence to KPI's, SLA/SLT's and company standards including but not limited to, ISO 9001 and 27001
Management and ownership of information security for the business, including feeding onto tender responses and responding to customer queries
Providing regular and timely updates during emergencies to all stakeholders (including executive team)
Managing IT budgets and implementing cost saving measures
Continuous improvement of systems and services
Management of IT asset register including end of life asset discontinuation and replacement
Comprehensive input into monthly board report via line manager and representation of IT dring weekly Business Performance Review meetings
Operate in compliance with all company policy and procedures, HR best practice and relevant regulations required eg PCI, GDPR, ISO 27001, 9001 and 14001

Skills, experience and qualifications required
Degree in Computer Science or related subject, or suitable level of previous experience in a similar role
Experience of managing a team that includes outsourced resources (i.e supplier and contract management)
Capability to manage and resolve complaints quickly and effectively
Excellent communication with both customers and internal/ external resources
Ability to work quickly and efficiently within tight deadlines
Ability to communicate issues to both technical and non-technical staff
Strong capability to negotiate and persuade others effectively
Strong capability within analytics and report writing
