Junior Software Engineer - Oxfordshire - £30,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience

Role: Junior Software Engineer

Field: Manufacturing Engineering/ NPI/ Electro-Mechanical/Prototype Engineering/Electrical/Controls Engineering/Controls & Automation/C# / Programming/Software Engineering

Reporting to: Senior Engineering Manager

Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience

Benefits: 24 days starting holiday allowance plus bank holidays, performance related bonuses based on company performance (Up to £3,000), IET Chartered Engineering CPD scheme to gain fully Chartered Engineering status

An excellent opportunity exists for a bright, enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join a growing and dynamic company, operating in a high-tech sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and install solutions for advanced engineering systems
• Use of GUI software packages
• Involved in the full software development lifecycle including testing
• Take requirements from customers and delivery commercially viable solutions to meet end users' needs
• Develop custom software projects plug-ins and algorithms within C# programming
• Be apart of the development and expansion of the company's software library and future R&D projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Computing, Engineering or relevant work experience in a software engineering and IT projects team
• Knowledge of software programming languages and in particular C#
• Clean and full UK driving license
• Experience in industrial automation would be beneficial but not essential
