An established manufacturing business, with a continued focus on continuous improvement, innovation and investment, now has an opportunity for a Logistics Planning Manager.

The key is to ensure the delivery of products to the customers safely, on time and in full, working closely with customers, 3rd parties, agencies and all internal department managers and staff.

Other duties will require you to present complicated information simply and to drive continuous improvement through management information, continuously reviewing ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs.

The ability to present and provide information to influence at Senior Manager level and to be also able to analyse data and build plans based on that understanding is also key in this role

A dynamic individual is required for this multi-faceted role who has experience in logistics planning and performance management or managing cost and resources in a production or logistics environment.

Analytical skills are also important, along with a knowledge of transport legislation and experience of influencing change and driving improvement plans.
