Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) - Based in Newport - Permanent Role

Excellent base salary + overtime & double time available

Shifts Patterns: 6am-2pm or 10am-6pm Monday to Friday

VibeRecruit is working on behalf of a leading family-run FMCG manufacturing company based in Newport who produce a number of best-selling products for a range of major retailers operating throughout the UK.

Due to increased business gains they are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for both mechanical & electrical maintenance within the food processing plant.

The successful candidate will be carrying out regular mechanical & electrical maintenance work on production equipment; both preventative & reactive as and when required.

The ideal candidate will hold both mechanical & electrical qualifications and demonstrate previous fixed maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. 17th or 18th Edition wiring certification would be preferred.

Experience of installing & commissioning equipment is also an advantage.
