Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - Based in Pontycymer (near Bridgend) - Permanent Role

Hours: 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday / some weekend work required

Excellent base salary plus overtime rates when avaialble

VibeRecruit is working on behalf of an established & successful plastic molding company based near Bridgend who design & produce end-products for a number of leading brands across the UK & abroad.

Due to increased operational requirements they are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to take up an immediate post based at their facility in Pontycymer (near Bridgend).

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out regular maintenance routines on production & molding equipment in line with H&S & compliance standards. He / She will ensure that production continues with minimum downtime by reacting quickly to mechanical & electrical faults as and when they occur.

Previously experience of maintenance & repair of gears, brake systems and hydraulics would be advantageous, along with electrical faultfinding & diagnostics.

The ideal candidate will be working in a similar environment with demonstrated experience of mechanical & electrical maintenance on fixed equipment. Recognized electrical qualifications are essential.
