£45,000 - £50,000 + 8% bonus and benefits package

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a brand name, international manufacturer in Ebbw Vale. The role will be to provide manufacturing engineering support to the Ebbw Vale facility. This position will work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance leader, Production Supervisors and maintenance team to lead and manage improvement actions in support of ever changing engineering and production requirements.

A Manufacturing Engineer you will:

- Lead and coordinate engineering workstreams in support of the production strategies and provide technical support to the Production teams on a day to day basis.

- Have an understandin of Six Sigma methodologies and be familiar with using quality tools, such as 6 Sigma, 6 Panel reporting, FMEA & DCP

- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the team conduct daily business by using tools such as Dynamic Control Planning, Feasibility studies, Change Control, Project fund tracking, CCAR's and other related systems.

- Coordinate the team and individual activities to maximise workload to achieve the daily goals with a view to achieving longer term objectives, including engineering budget objectives.

- Have a proactive involvement in the investigation of Quality or production constraint concerns via the use of methodical problem solving tools and techniques to ensure fault resolution and recurrence prevention.

- Lead\coordinate shutdown work/project planning & delivery.

- Use your experience and knowledge to provide 'hands on' engineering support to the team
