Hours: Shifts 4 on 4 off (2 days and 2 nights)

My client is one of the leading suppliers of household paper in the country and they are looked for a Manufacturing Operator Maintainer to join the team in Bridgend.

Responsibilities
-Perform machine changeovers and product changes.
-Drive a continuous Improvement culture.
-Adherence to quality procedures.
-Carry out workshop routines, check and maintain the equipment to a satisfactory standard
-Ensure work tickets are entered on completion of work and for follow up work to be planned into CMMS.
-Optimise equipment to improve the efficiencies of the assets.
-React promptly to breakdowns.
-Perform troubleshooting to diagnose product, process or machine defects and rectify.
-Operate production equipment to daily targets.

Skills
-Experience in Operating and maintaining equipment.
-Good written/verbal communication skills and distributing of information to team.
-Team player.
-Good problem-solving skills and continuous improvement.
-Sufficient level of numeracy and literacy, with strong attention to detail (results oriented and focus on accuracy).
-Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.

Desirable
Engineering/Technician background with mechanical experience
Experience in FMCG
Experience working in an automated production environment
