Mechanical Assembly and Test Engineer

An established international manufacturer of engineering components and accessories, now has an opening for an additional Assembly and Test Engineer to join the team.

Main duties:

• To Build products and systems from engineering drawings and instructions.
• To produce mechanical production assemblies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Picking of components.
• Assemble items to the correct assembly procedure as required.
• Test items to the correct test procedure as required.
• Generate all quality/test documentation and sign off ready for final QA sign off.
• Packing of finished items
• Attend on going system design training.

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication skills
• Be mechanically minded.
• Have the ability to work with basic hand tools.
• Have the ability to fault find and rectify production issues.
• Experience of working with in a Production Environment.
• Have a good knowledge of quality procedures.
• Be able to read technical engineering drawings/circuit diagrams.
