A position for a Mechanical Design Engineer is now available for a manufacturer of specialist production equipment and instrumentation.

The company provides custom designs and manufacture on their site in Banbury for a variety of UK and global customers.

The equipment is used mainly in the production of food and pharmaceuticals, but also in various other industries across the world.

The machines are custom made for each client based on their needs, applications and specifications and are renowned in the industry for superior performance and sustainability.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Design: Designing of new products and development of existing products.
• Create 3D parts and assemblies.
• Produce 2D manufacturing and layout drawings
• Product Support: Providing technical information to both external and internal customers.
• Production Engineering: Support the production department during the introduction of new products, development of existing products and any current changes to the existing products.
• Document Control: Maintaining new and existing product documentation including ensuring they are up to date.
• Continuous Improvements: the ongoing improvement of products and technical processes.
