We are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join an employer of choice in Newport. Employing over 13,000 worldwide, the company in question is an international, industry leader with an impressive site in Newport.

As Mechanical Technician you will:

• Support the site maintenance effort carrying out typical maintenance activities
• Utilise your previous experience when repairing and inspecting pumps, vessels and rotating equipment.
• Be able to fit pipework and utilise machine shop skills to operate manual machinery such as lathes, drills and milling equipment.
• Be a competent Welder and showcase your knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lined equipment, pumps and relief valves
