Mechanical Technician

Vibe Recruit's client based in Newport is looking to appoint a Mechanical Technician on a full time, permanent contract.

Reporting to the Newport site Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the site maintenance effort carrying out typical maintenance activities including repair and inspection of pumps, vessels, rotating equipment, pipe breaking and pipe fitting. You will utilise machine shop skills such as lathes, drills and milling equipment in your daily activities.

Have achieved a time served qualification (i.e. an apprenticeship) in a relevant discipline.
