Offset Litho Print Supervisor

Senior Lithographic Printer £33,350 including shift allowance for 8 hour 3 shift pattern weekdays only.
Overview
Working within the print department that has the latest print technology equipment producing photographic quality products. Supervision on the whole shift , in the most efficient manner possible whilst ensuring the output is in conjunction with the target.
Responsibilities
Co-ordinate the shifts
Production Output control
Quality control according with procedure existing
Preventive maintenance according with the Group Leader & Maintenance Coordinator
Spare parts control
Keep machine standard to ensure output and quality.
Ensure the minimum stock of the material needed for the print process (blankets , powder , etc)
Participate in the company TPM (Continuous Improvement) programmes
Support other team members IN Maintenance Dept
Proactive on the H&S systems.
Assign work: Assign certain duties to employees, and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured. Ensure that the employee is working under a current job description and in a classification appropriate to the duties.
Evaluate Performance : Â Proper attention to performance evaluation during the probationary period and carefully considered decisions as to whether the employee should pass probation can be critical. The initial probationary period an opportunity to judge the suitability of an employee for a specific position.

Qualifications /Experience
City and GUILDS in print and print technology
5 years offset printer knowledge
Colorimetry knowledge
Software colour control
Spectrophotometer knowledge
Offset Inks knowledge
Report generation Access/Excel
Proven problem solving skills
Demonstrating creative solutions introduce changes to processes to eliminate issues from reoccurring
