Press and Production Operatives

Our client, based in the Brackla area of Bridgend, mid Glamorgan, is a leading manufacturer of plastic water supply devices, supplying a variety of authorities and services on a global scale.

Due to an increase in work, we are looking to add to their growing team, on an ongoing basis. The roles available are Press and Production Operatives;

Press Operative

Duties:

Manufacturing core components of water meter casing on site, using raw fibreglass to insert into prepared moulds in readiness for furnace sealing (press ovens). Once the parts have been sealed, they will then need to be filed and quality checked in accordance to company standards. For the success of this role you will be able to work around hot ovens with raw fibreglass, showing durability to work different machines, manufacturing a wide range of products according to set targets. Selected candidates will need to possess a good level of physical fitness for the success of this role

Hours of work: 7am until 4pm - Monday to Friday, finishing at 1.30pm on Friday - Weekly Pay

Production Operative

Duties:

Producing and assembling core components of water meter casing, simple and straight forward with full training given. The successful candidate will have a good physical level of fitness and be able to work to targets within a set time frame. The chosen candidate will also need to be flexible in their approach to work and be able to assist in various departments in accordance to business demand.

Hours of work: 7am until 4pm Monday to Friday, finishing at 1.30pm on Friday - Weekly Pay.
