Our client, based in the Brackla area of Bridgend, mid Glamorgan, is a leading manufacturer of plastic water supply devices, supplying a variety of authorities and services on a global scale.
Due to an increase in work, we are looking to add to their growing team, on an ongoing basis.
Manufacturing core components of water meter casing on site, using raw fibreglass to insert into prepared moulds in readiness for furnace sealing (press ovens). Once the parts have been sealed, they will then need to be filed and quality checked in accordance to company standards. For the success of this role you will be able to work around hot ovens with raw fibreglass, showing durability to work different machines, manufacturing a wide range of products according to set targets. Selected candidates will need to possess a good level of physical fitness and be in good health for the success of this role
Hours of work: Shift pattern as follows:-
Training period Mon to Fri 8am - 4pm (early finish at 1pm every Friday)
Afternoons Mon to Fri 2pm - 10pm
Nights Sun to Thurs 10pm - 6am
Please note: You must be able to work shift patterns and be over 18 to apply for this role. Due to factory location and shift pattern, own transport would be desirable.
