My client based in Ammanford are looking for a hands-on technical Process Engineer to join their growing team. Due to expansion, this position has arisen which will cover process improvements, New Product Introduction (NPI) and internal Non Conformance Reporting (NCR).

Within this role you will be responsible for:

· Coordinate with Manager for testing requirements of NPI products.

· Assisting in product campaigns which involves charge make-up sheets, atomizing parameters, AA sampling, PSD measurement, Microtrac analysis, Carbon/Oxygen/Nitrogen testing.

· Involved in projects which increase the productivity of manufacturing (yield), and decrease reject rate (scrap).

· Capturing key data for new campaigns according to product specifications.

· Responsible for inline testing using laboratory equipment.

· Data review of KPIs.

· Project work

· Create works orders for blending of new customer samples.

· Develop cost-effective production solutions while maintaining high quality and productivity.

· Maintain production documentation and generate routine and ad-hoc reports.

· Perform root cause analysis of production issues and provide corrective actions.

· Respond to customer enquiries and concerns in a timely fashion.

· Ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.

· Ensure that materials are used and handled appropriately to avoid scrap.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Materials Science, and/or a Degree (or equivalent) in a STEM subject.
