Procurement Director

Vibe Recruit's client is looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Director based in Ammanford.

You will need to be a team player, recognising that Procurement does not stand alone, but is an integral part of the commercial offer for the whole business. You will have a track record in building exceptional relationships across a number of stakeholder groups and have developed a strong focus on supplier, customer and staff engagement. You will need to be motivated, energetic, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Ammanford

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Salary: £70,000 per annum

The ideal candidate: -

* Previous experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Senior Management.

* A proven track-record of excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* A skilled people manager with experience of managing a diverse and inclusive team, including performance management, mentoring and developing team members.

With responsibility for

* The ownership and development of the Procurement strategy for the business.

* Holding the primary relationship with the Company's key suppliers that are constructive and built on a strong reputation.

* Delivering strategic leadership and promoting a high-performance culture within the Procurement team.

* Identifying opportunities that deliver improvements to productivity and profitability across the business.

* Collaborative working with other Board Directors to deliver on overall Company Strategy.
