We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join a powerful brand with a worldwide reputation for excellence out of their Cardiff manufacturing facility.

As well as using your experience of working in a manufacturing environment, as Procurement Specialist you will:

- Manage Quality, Service and Cost, managing an existing supplier network and sourcing new and innovative suppliers from around the globe.

- Develop a sourcing strategy for all key components and materials.

- Identify and deliver cost saving projects, taking a lead role in project implementation.

- Monitor and report on key commodity markets, identifying opportunities and risks for the cost base of the business.

- Liaise with global procurement partners to provide competitive advantage to the wider Panasonic supply chain.

- Develop business continuity plans, with risk mitigation planning and financial health checks of key business partners.

- Drive NPD through a robust procurement process.
