Production Team Leader / Supervisor

Vibe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Blackwood area for a Supervisor - on a temporary to permanent basis.

The position is based on a 6 month probationary period - pay rate to start at £9.20 and raise to £9.81 once probation has been completed.

Shift Pattern

Continental shifts - 4 days on , 4 days off

12 hour shifts , 2 days and 2 nights

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a supervisory position along with knowledge of starting / stopping injection molding machines and robots.

Have basic knowledge of using computers and Microsoft packages and will have experience in using fork lift trucks with relevant licences.

Job Specification

You will be responsible for a team of 5-9 operators and 1 charge hand during a 12 hour shift, ensuring the shift has breaks in a timely manner either with assistance of floating staff, doubling up or stopping machines to relieve labour.

It will be your responsibility to make sure that production standard is being achieved in all areas by carrying out two hourly checks.

- To potentially isolate any defective product should the circumstance occur

- To encourage help and train operators and aid charge hand if required.

- To organize and prepare for changes throughout shifts.

- You will be responsible for communicating handovers and take overs from previous / next shift
