Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Location: Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent

Salary: £25000.00 - £27000.00 per annum plus benefits

The role

Vibe are proud to be representing an interesting client with rapid growth plans over the next 5 years. Due to a recent re structure they currently require an experienced Project Coordinator based at their office in Tredegar. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will liaise with a team of Operations supervisors to coordinate vital business projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager with the handover of project meetings
  • Establish continuous contact with internal teams and main contractor ensuring work is on time and in accordance with the schedule
  • Plan, budget and report on projects
  • Identify resource requirements in line with work schedule and flag any concerns to the Operations Manager
  • Immediately report any delays or potential issues arising on projects that will impact financial performance to the Operations Manager
  • Compile and issue work folders for the upcoming week ahead for Supervisors
  • Liaise with relevant teams and individuals providing daily, weekly and monthly updates on current / live jobs to relevant departments
  • Update company shared documentation including any revisions or variations to requirements

Skills, experience and qualifications required

  • Prince 2 Qualification or qualified by experience
  • Excel project management skills
  • An ability to work and meet set deadlines, both customers defined and internal
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients at all levels
  • Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner
  • Proficient in handling complex schedules in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Understand different situations from site requirements and an ability to problem solve
