Property Claims Adjuster

Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for a Property Claims Adjuster for a company based in Colchester. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a reputable organisation who are looking for an ambitious, resilient, and talented individual to join the Property Claims Adjusting team.

Do you have experience of working in a "decision making" Property claims role, handling claims on a desk-top basis for a Broker, Insurer, TPA or Loss Adjuster? If so, we would like to hear from you.

The Role

You will manage a portfolio of Commercial Property losses, handling them from first notification through to a successful conclusion.

Throughout the lifecycle, you'll maintain continual client contact, offering technical advice where required, chasing Loss Adjusters and other experts for necessary updates, and ensuring that your clients are given realistic timescales for each step of the process. Whilst training is on offer, it is your responsibility to strive for continuous professional development, keeping abreast of industry changes, market publications, and legislation.

It is essential that you have a genuine passion for claims handling, and pride yourself on achieving the best possible settlement on behalf of your clients within the policy terms.

As such, you must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be able to manage claims in a fair and expeditious manner. As well as keeping the client abreast of the progress of their claim, you will be expected to assist with claims reviews, providing your expert opinion on the best course of action to resolve claims.
