We are recruiting for a Proposals / Bid Specialist to join a leading manufacturer in Stroud. The role is varied, interesting and will suit you if you take a keen interest in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

As a Proposals Specialist you will:

- Create quotations and bid packages as the role is responsible for ensuring financial and technical compliance with customer requirements.

- Work with the technical team for the preparation of drawings, BOM's and models for proposal packages.

- Co-ordinate with all relevant stakeholders, to obtain and analyse inputs to ensure accuracy of quotations.

- Prepare and manage enquiries / quotations using MS Office software & Electronic Systems.

- Review and interprate customer enquiries

- Maintain the Quotation Register and File Structure, including document management of customer specifications

- Comply with Commercial Rules of the Road and obtain required approvals for submission of proposals

- Provide commercial guidance to the organisation, value engineering, upselling and other cost and price drivers

- Assist when required in the arrangement of conference calls and customer meetings either at the plant or customer facilities
