Job Description

Vibe's client based in Blackwood are recruiting for a Quality Team Leader on a temporary to permanent basis.

The correct candidate for the position will need the following attributes as a minimum:

# Competent to Liaise and deal with customers and suppliers on a day to day basis by implementing requirements and dealing with issues or changes to specifications. The individual will need the skill set to apply these changes and communicate them in a workable and efficient way to a 24/7 production environment. The candidate will be required to leave site so a clean driving licence is essential

# Competent to be involved in new projects and apply the information from start of the process to rolling out specifications, and processes throughout the business. The individual must also be competent to make changes to existing specs and bring them in line to current quality demands

# Competent to manage a BSI 9001 2015 programme and support the compliance of this system on an ongoing basis being involved in such documents as Management review and analysis etc

# Must have a self-drive mentality to offer continuous improvement options throughout the business and follow these through with the support of the existing team and management. Such examples of these would be improve current processes or implement a new communication procedure.

# Must have ability to be able to transfer specific information into visual flashcards for production workers to follow easily and efficiently

# A good knowledge of the Bsi 9001:2015 standard is essential.

# Competent in health and safety and be required to work alongside management to maintain and drive forward compliance and continuous improvement in H and S. such as RA`s, Fire, Incident investigations etc

# Must be prepared to be hands on in the production environment and also be prepared to aid other departments when short staffed and step up to ensure the business demands are required.

# In time must be competent to manage other standards that the company hold or intend to hold such as SMETA (social and Ethical) 14001 (environmental) etc.

# Must have production and manufacturing knowledge and experience and must have the ability to adapt quickly and be able to prioritise tasks in an environment that is subject to rapid change

# Working hours 9am-6pm - but will need to be flexible occasionally depending on demands of business.

# Essential to be competent in Microsoft Office package, telephone manner and would be an advantage but not essential if familiar with Sage
