Job Title:Quality Technician
Job Type:Full- time, Permanent
Location:Narberth Pembrokeshire
Salary:£24,000
Hours:Monday to Friday and weekend 1 in every 3 (Friday and Monday off)
My client based in Pembrokeshire is looking for the right candidate to work alongside the Quality team. This role will include carrying out daily quality control checks (chemical/ physical/ microbiological and sensory); to assist in maintaining documentation of the Laboratory and Quality Management System and to monitor the factory ensuring Good.
This client is a well-known bottled water brand who produce and supply businesses across the UK. They also have relationships with other major well-known brands therefore the career opportunities are endless.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
*Ensure a well-run and efficient laboratory service is offered to the production facility and manage relevant documentation/ records as required.
*Conduct analytical testing of product and other samples according to the approved QMS and set company methodology
*Conduct sensory analysis of product and raw materials by arranging/participating in sensory panels
*To be aware of the values expected for the test values and thereby notify the Site Quality Manager of all test results that fall outside of the specification limits.
*Ensure completion of required external proficiency testing
*Responsible for the ordering of laboratory consumables and stock control of laboratory goods.
*Recognise and report any food safety and health & safety issues.
*Ensure any non-conforming raw materials or finished products have correctly followed the NCR procedure.
*Assisting with investigations into product non-conformance, customer and supplier complaints.
*To assist, undertake and conduct reports on the internal audit schedules (including GMP's/ Glass & Hard Plastics/HACCP).
