Due to recent development they currently require a Degree Qualified Reliability Engineer who will report directly to the Maintenance Manager based in Newport. Duties and responsibilities

Ensure reliability is factored into the design, installation, or modification of assets
Work closely with respective maintenance engineers in implementing effective parts management and spares strategies
Effective utilisation of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
Presentation of reports, analysis and plans for approval.
Production of key performance indicators, including MTBF, MTTR and resource utilisation
Principal areas of Loss Elimination, Risk Management and Life Cycle Asset Management
Track production losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets, then develop strategies to reduce those losses or high costs.
Work as an integral part of plant improvement teams
Manage risk to help achieve the sites strategies objectives in the area's environmental health and safety, asset capability and production
Possess knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, guidance, and procedures relating to the design, installation operation and maintenance of equipment or systems
Experience in condition monitoring techniques
Take an active part in managing Ex inspection program

You will need to have a familiarity with the following tools:

Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
Reliability hazard analysis
Fault tree analysis
Root cause analysis
Criticality analysis
Testability analysis
Human error analysis
Preventative/ Planned Maintenance Optimisation
