Are you an experienced Manager from a Technical background? Would you class yourself an expert in Auto Cad, Sketch up Pro and Solid works? Can you take the lead on key design projects ensuring your team produce compelling and highly dynamic images for a worldwide audience?

Vibe are exclusively representing a key client whose Head Office is based in North Bristol. Due to talent development and re-structuring within the business they require an experienced Retail Design and Delivery Manager who will report directly to the Head of Projects and Marketing. Your role will involve managing 2 designers and 2 space planners ensuring delivery of a world class next generation design concept. Once completed your projects will be displayed to clientele across the globe.

Key responsibilities

Manage key design projects and manage them through from concept to realisation
Establish good communication processes with established brands when working on relevant projects to save costs and time
Be mindful of the ergonomic elements to all design practices
Work closely with key global brands whilst liaising with their design teas and design furniture and retail spaces fulfilling the brief within set restraints
Produce the manufacture production technical specification documentations
Manage the design budget
Work closely with design agencies on key projects whilst also sourcing and recommending agencies internally
Manage and develop a team of 2 designers and 2 space planners
Work closely with Finance to model stores based upon spec adjacencies and produce complimentary designs
Work with buying teams to produce best practice for design delivery

Skills and experience required

Highly creative with a strong eye for detail
Aware of the current rends and influences in the retail design world
Commercially aware maximise revenue return through innovative design
The technical ability to produce technical drawing sets
Ability to manage and deliver the final design solution into a presentable manner
Space planning trained - macro and micro
Experience in Auto Cad, Sketch up Pro and Solid Works
